Love.

It’s a four letter word. Many of us think of the sappy romances, while others think of hearts and chocolates.. What should we think of when you hear the word love? There is no correct answer, but many opinions.
When we think of love, we should think of the love Christ has for us. That he was willing to die for us, for our sins. We are sinners and he still takes us in. God will never leave us not forsake us; his love is too mighty. The Lord loves us unendingly, unfailingly. We still continue to sin against him. But he forgives. He loves.
To have a love so great, so graceful! So peaceful! Better than any romance novel, better than any heart or box of chocolates. Its wonderful, amazing, indescribable love!
We say we know Christ’s love for us. We say we know the word and how we are supposed to love each other, even enemies and sinners. But do we really show love to everyone like we should. We don’t wear our hearts on our sleeves because we are afraid of getting hurt. Well, through our love, people will know we are Christians and believers in Christ.
The bible says: “If I speak in tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all the mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body and hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
For anything to be accomplished, we must love. We must have love in our hearts. We must show others love!
