Life of Gratitude

Take a minute and think about life. Isn’t it wonderful? Enjoying relationships with friends, family, close relatives, coworkers, church members, sometimes even the cashier at the convienent store you stop at every morning on your way to work to grab your coffee. We engage ourselves in things we love to do whether it be a sport of some sort, playing an instrument, working, playing games, or even just lounging around with friends. We admire God’s creation. A walk in the woods planting in the Garden, hiking up a mountain. Isn’t life enjoyable, despite the times when it seems awful? How would you feel if you had that taken away from you? What if you found out you were going to die soon (I’ll let you be creative and make up your own scenario). You’re probably saying “that’s terrible” or “I can’t even imagine”, but in reality, someone has done that.
Can you believe that someone gave up their life for you? And it’s not just any “someone”, but someone who was sinless, someone who knew how to perform miracles, someone who could heal the sick and give the blind their sight, someone who turned water into wine. Why? Why did he give up his life for you? To save us all from our sins. Through his death we are free. But don’t forget he rose 3 days later! Next time you start thinking that “life is bad” just remember that our time here on earth is temporary, therefore we need to make the most out of the time God gives us down here. Don’t take life for granted, because the most perfect man gave up his so you could live yours.

I have added some pictures of “life”. Things I am grateful for having in my life and things that I’ve done/ seen that really make me appreciate what Jesus did for me by dying on the cross. Please comment with your picture of life appreciation!

I am grateful for my family, I appreciate the wonderful creation God gives us…and how it changes. (I cannot figure out how to post pictures of everything though and that is probably to your benefit as it might take up tons of space!)
